A teenager's life is not as simple as many think. We have to go through a lot of changes. Many people believe the change is only physical, which is completely untrue. The greatest change a teenager faces are those which is psychological. Teenagers are constanly pressured by their surroundings, which explains the reason for them being stressed.
Teenage years should be the most exciting, enjoyable and memorable times in everyone's life. There are many things that I enjoy at this point of my life. I enjoy drawing, listening to music, sleeping, eating as much as I want to and many many more. Some of these things cannot be enjoyed as much when we grow older, for example we cannot eat too much when we reach middle age.
Sometimes I feel that I am blessed because I have a happy and a good family. My parents do not give me a lot of pressure. Actually I am happy everyday. The school that I go to now also does not give me pressure, unlike my previous school. So, that is why I am happy.
The only thing that worry me now is my grades. I want to do better in my exams. Each time I want to get better marks than the last exams. These days everything revolves around money, and sometimes it seems impossible to have a good life without it. This makes me realize the importance of education and planning for my future and how it will have an effect on my life later on.
I'm glad to have some friends that are very nice to me. Everyday we enjoy each other's company. Sometimes we joke and have fun together. We also like to tease each other. Every year there wil be new friends joining us from other places. I love to make new friends. I guess now should be the best part of my life.

When do you think you can start dating?
This is a hard question. Different people start dating at different ages. It usually depends on the teenager's maturity and who they are dating. It also depends on how ready she or he is. I am currently 14 and if you ask me "So, you want to go on a date " I'd probably say no. I have school, friends and I have my goals and dreams to fulfill. I think I shoud wait until I am in college. There is less chance of me making bad choices. Moreover, there isn't anyone that I want to date at this moment. I will only think about this question when I meet someone that I like. When the time comes I will ask my parents if it is alright for me to date someone.
Some people start dating when they are very young. I know someone who starts dating at the age of 13. Of course this is not a serious relationship, but you can already see how different personalities and characters start dating at different ages. Teens are doing everything too young. Just because they become a teenager, why does that mean they are old enough to date? If they really have to, they have to know what the rules are and follow them. They shouldn't do what they shoudn't do.
They could go to their dates house only if " a parent " is going to be home the whole time. I've noticed in school and around town when students get caught up in dating and etc they lose all sense of direction and school is the least thing on their minds. So dating should not be encourage until the child is mentally, emotionally capable of handing the pressures of life. Even many adults can't handle serious relationship. So, even if the child is mature waiting a few years will not kill them. The extra time will help them become more mature. If they go behind their parents backs and date, then they are not mature at all. This is only what I thought.
Maybe teenages should consider hanging out with a mix group (boys and girls) of friends and going to movies, swimming, sporting events, bike rides, etc. so that you can develop skills in relating to all kinds of people.
